My journey into baking started in my Nani’s kitchen in Dehradun. During the much coveted summer holidays, I used to always be with her in the kitchen when she used to bake and I would watch her with curious eyes and hands that would always want to mix the batter and then taste it too! What started off as a passion for me soon morphed into my dream profession.
I am the owner of The Bakehouse by Ishika where I create baked dreams! It's a venture based out of Nagpur. I run an artisanal bakery and cater to customized hampers and other baking orders for the Orange city. But, we do ship Cookies, Tarts, Brownies and Tea Cakes all across India.
Whenever I am not in the kitchen I am always looking for bargains on tickets so I can fly to other cities and see what’s on the agenda on their dessert lists because I really, really love to travel.
